For Etsy & print-on-demand sellers

How it works

Three steps, no prompt writing and no photoshoot. Here is what happens between picking your options and downloading a listing image.

  1. 1

    Pick a garment and options

Start from the garment and colour, then choose the model, pose, location, season and accessories. Every option is a list item, not a text box — you never describe a scene in words, so you cannot phrase it wrong.

  2. 2

    Generate

Your options are turned into composition rules built specifically for print-on-demand: where the model's arms and hair sit, how much of the chest stays flat and unobstructed, how far the background falls out of focus. These rules were refined over months of iteration on real listings.

  3. 3

    Download and place your design

You get a square image at listing resolution with the chest panel left clean. Drop your artwork on it in any editor and the mockup is ready to upload.

What you control

Each of these is a dropdown, not a prompt. The lists exist so the output stays predictable across a whole shop.

Garment and colour

Comfort Colors blanks in their real shades. Each colour is matched against a reference photo of the actual fabric, so the shade in your mockup is the shade your customer receives.

Format: on a model or flat lay

A worn shot for lifestyle listings, or a styled flat lay for a cleaner, product-led look. Both come back square.

Fit: regular or oversized

Fit changes how the fabric falls and how wide the print area reads — worth matching to what you actually sell.

Model, pose and location

Hair colour, skin tone, age vibe, pose and setting. Poses are filtered so arms and hair stay clear of the print area.

Season, weather and styling

Accessories, bottoms and outer layers are offered per season, so a beanie never turns up in a summer beach shot.

Background depth

Choose how much the background blurs. Strong blur keeps all attention on the garment; softer blur shows more of the setting.

Common questions

Do I need to write a prompt?
No. Every choice is a list item and the prompt is built for you on the server. You never see or write prompt text.
How long does one image take?
Usually a few seconds. If the model is busy or the request times out, the generation is marked failed and your credit comes back automatically.
Can I put my own design on the mockup?
That is the point. The chest panel is deliberately left empty and unobstructed so you can place your artwork on it in any image editor.
What size are the images?
Square, 1:1, at listing resolution — it fills an Etsy thumbnail with no cropping and no letterboxing.
